Reading

Reading is a pastime I have enjoyed for many years. According my mom I could read before I started school and was soon reading as a level well ahead of my classmates. "Famous Five", "Secret Seven" and "Nancy Drew" filled my pre-teen years before I moved on to first regency romances and finally fantasy fiction during my teen years.

While I do read outside the fantasy genre, it is where I am most happiest and most enjoy spending time. Recently I have been expanding my reading habits to include more of the genres that fall within "speculative fiction" but still I tend to fall back to the "safety" of adventurers, treasure, dragons and magic.
