Project Update 2011-02-20

I started this piece about 2 weeks back using the yarn I had found and the needles that had recommended but even though I swatched, it was coming out waay too soft and baggy. So I frogged it and started again. This time holding the gorgeous soft wool with a 4 ply that just disappears into the colours of the variegated yarn. Also using smaller needles - 5.5mm for the rib, 6mm for the rest. This is now the back finished for the 2nd time and I am much happier with how it has turned out. I have bound off with a contrasting yarn so that I can rip back or add on as needed.
